Pyramid Lake Fishing Report November 24th 2024

Fishing remains very good at the lake. The quality of fish showing up right now is not typical for the fall season. The average size of fish are what we would expect to see in February, not November. Fishing has also been good on flat days which is also atypical for Pyramid in the fall and early winter. Recent storms have really mixed up the water and helped to quickly decrease water temperatures. Fish seem to be moving in and out of the shallows throughout the day giving anglers several shots at hooking up during the day. We should see this shift to more of an afternoon and evening game when temps really fall. Big flies under the bobber seem to be picking up quiet a few more fish than stripping, but we should see that change with the cold temps on the way. For now, Tui Chub Balanced Baitfish, Brown Balanced Baitfish, Burnt Orange Balanced Leech, Peacock Black Balanced Leech, Brown Balanced Leech, and Chartreuse Balanced Baitfish have been very productive under the bobber. Chartreuse Tadpole, White Woolly Worm, and Midnight Cowboy Woolly Worm are good to have when you get tired of watching the bobber.
