The Pyramid Lake Balanced Leech is a great leech pattern made for fishing under an indicator. This leech dances while it balance horizontally in the water column.
Imitates: Leech or small baitfish in lakes, reservoirs, and slower moving rivers.
Useful for: Trout in western stillwaters and slow deep rivers.
Tricks/Techniques: Made to fish under the indicator on a floating line this fly has changed the lives of many. This pattern moves well under water with the marabou tail and remains in the horizontal position unlike any other fly. A small bounce on the surface makes this fly dance, enticing the largest trout. Its body made of blended trilobal dubbing adds just the right amount of contrast to insure your fly is seen. An extremely heavy fly we recommend using a very large indicator or beach ball to keep this one off the bottom. The balanced leech is sometimes all it takes to turn a good day, into a great one.
This fly is hand tied at my own bench in the United States of America under the highest of scrutiny. A tested and proven pattern.
